Part 3 - Line 4a

THE ELDERLY AND DISABLED WAIVER IS A STATEWIDE PROGRAM DESIGNED TO OFFER ASSISTANCE TO QUALIFIED MEDICAID BENEFICIARIES. THIS PROGRAM ALLOWS QUALIFIED INDIVIDUALS TO REMAIN IN A HOME OR COMMUNITY-BASED SETTING.


VARIOUS OTHER PROGRAMS SUCH AS REVOLVING LOAN FUNDS AND WIA.


ECPDD SERVES AS AN AREA AGENCY ON AGING (AAA) WITH PROGRAMS AND SERVICES FUNDED THROUGH THE MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES DIVISION OF AGING & ADULT SERVICES, AND THE MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYMENT SECURITY. THESE SERVICES DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY IMPACT THE LIVES OF OLDER PERSONS, BUT ALL WORK TOGETHER WITH THE COMMON INTEREST OF IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR OLDER INDIVIDUALS.
